Ellen Romer, Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning

Ellen Romer rejoined Simmons in 2002 as Senior Vice President of the Simmons Integrated Marketing Solutions (SIMS) business unit, which encompassed the Simmons Custom Research, Advanced Analytic Solutions and Statistical Sciences teams.

In her current Strategic Planning role, Ellen oversees brand management and new product development for Experian Simmons, placing special emphasis on providing unique and relevant solutions to clients using Experian Simmons' toolkit of syndicated databases and proprietary modeling and data integration techniques.  Ellen's 20 years of research experience has included custom and multi-client projects spanning a broad range of industries, from on-line and print media to consumer packaged goods to healthcare.

Before rejoining Experian Simmons, Ellen served as Senior Vice President of global patient studies at Market Measures/NOP World Health, where she identified and launched new syndicated research services into Europe and established joint product development opportunities for NOP World companies.  Ellen also served as Managing Director/Research of Rx Remedy Information Services, where she established recruitment and replenishment programs for a diary panel consisting of more than 30,000 consumers.
