Jim Tobolski, Vice President, Client Business Development
As Vice President of Client Business Development, Jim shares in the executive responsibilities for the overall management of the Simmons client base. Jim and his team work with premier corporations in areas ranging from media, agency, advertiser, interactive, global manufacturing, software, consumer products, and non-profit. Jim is considered a sales and leadership expert with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results for his clients and his team. Jim has had a career driven by two caveats: never look back wishing you would have done something more, and lead by example. This approach has served him well throughout his fifteen plus year career. Prior to joining Simmons Jim was Vice President of Sales for Arbitron’s Advertiser Agency Services Division. During that time he was able to maneuver his way from individual contributor roles all the way through local, regional, and national leadership coaching responsibilities. Variously described as ebullient, focused, funny, passionate, sincere, hard-charging, and dynamic, Jim’s inspirational and energetic leadership style can be both contagious and motivating. Throughout his career Jim has been particularly adept at successfully building multi-functional teams of high performers focused on developing relevant and actionable solutions for agency, advertiser, interactive, and media clients. He has done this by balancing the strategic vision of his company with the marketplace realities that lead to positive measurable results and client satisfaction.
